Public Laws
Slip Laws are published in pamphlet form. Here is the description from the National Archives:
“The slip law is an official publication of the law and is admissible as "legal evidence" (1 U.S.C. 113). The OFR assigns the permanent law number and legal statutory citation of each law and prepares marginal notes, citations, and the legislative history (a brief description of the Congressional action taken on each public bill), which also contains dates of related Presidential remarks or statements). “
Slip Laws are online from the 104th Congress (1995-1996) on.
Slip laws are later published in the volumes of the Statutes at Large (below).
United States Statutes at Large

The Statutes at Large are online from the 82nd Congress, First Session (1951).
Statutes at Large before 1951 can be found in Federal Depository Libraries.
United States Code
“The United States Code is a consolidation and codification by subject matter of the general and permanent laws of the United States. It is prepared by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the United States House of Representatives.” -- from the site
The United States Code can be found online in several versions. Details can be found at the Library of Congress site. Earlier years of the United States Code can be found in Federal Depository Libraries.

Federal Register
The Federal Register “provides legal notice of administrative rules and notices and Presidential documents in a comprehensive, uniform manner. “ -- from the National Archives site. A daily preview, daily Federal Register issues, and a searchable version of XML files from 1994 are available, linked from the National Archives page.

Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)
