Evergreen Chapter Call for Nominations

The Evergreen Chapter is currently soliciting nominations for its Board of Directors. The Chapter encourages all area members to consider nominating one of your colleagues working in support of public service, or to submit a statement of interest for yourself.

The Chapter typically organizes four to five events each year, which typically include a public service awards event, workshops and speaker events, as well as more casual networking gatherings. Directors serve a two-year term and are involved in planning and running these events. They have 15 members on the board, along with up to three student members, which means plenty of teamwork!

The Board meets monthly via phone conference, with in-person meetings usually twice a year for annual program planning and a holiday gathering.  The Chapter also strives to meet and network with members during our program events throughout the year.

If you or a colleague are interested in running for a board seat, the Chapter requires:
1) A resume or c.v. and
2) A very short statement on why you are interested and any thoughts you have about what you would like to accomplish during a two-year term.

Please send these via email to nominations committee members Steve Benowitz and Michael Jacobson by Wednesday, May 31.
