National Capital Area Chapter Awards Nomination Open

The National Capital Area Chapter (NCAC) of the American Society for Public Administration is presenting two awards at their annual business meeting onThursday, March 30, 2017 from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. at George Washington University. 
  1. Outstanding Service Award
    • This award is given to a member of the National Capital Area Chapter of ASPA who demonstrates outstanding service to the chapter.

  2. Francis Kelsey Award
    • This award is named for Dr. Frances Kelsey, a U.S. Food and Drug Administration employee who resisted pressure to approve Thalidomide, and thus prevented countless birth defects. 
    • This award will be given to a person who has demonstrated courage in promoting the public interest while employed in government, contractors or grantees.
