COMPA EXTENDS PROPOSAL DEADLINE
The Conference of Minority Public Administrators (COMPA) has extended the deadline for submission of proposals for its 2015 Annual Meeting until Nov. 30. Proposals should discuss the theme Sustainable Blueprints: Public Engagement in Building Marginalized Communities. To learn more about proposal requirements, click here.
PA TIMES CALL FOR ARTICLES
PA TIMES invites articles for its October print issue. The October issue will discuss the theme "Technology & Training: Creating a 21st Century Public Sector." Articles that address how technology is changing the public sector and ways to prepare public servants for this change can be submitted to email@example.com. Articles must be received by Sept. 8 to be considered.
MIDDLE EAST CONFERENCE ON GOVERNANCE
The Association for Middle Eastern Public Policy and Administration (AMEPPA) and ASPA's Section on Effective and Sound Administration in the Middle East (SESAME) will host the 3rd Global Conference on Public Policy and Administration in the Middle East at the University of Beirut December 5-6, 2014. The theme for this year's conference is Public Sector Governance In the Middle East: The Design and Management of Reform (Re)Considered. To learn more, click here.
10th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (ICPA)
Tentative Schedule Now Available
A tentative schedule of events for the 10th International Conference on Public Administration (ICPA) is now available online. To view, click here. ICPA will be held Oct. 24-26 in Chengdu, China at the UESTC (Qingshuihe Campus). The theme for the 2014 conference is New Challenges and Advances in Public Administration. Organizers are currently accepting proposals that would address this theme. Registration is now open, to learn more, click here.
