This award pays tribute
to an organization which has made outstanding contributions to responsible
conduct in public service.
Eligibility
The award
will be presented annually to an organization that:
- presents evidence
of accomplishing, or causing to accomplish, significant programs or
projects benefiting the general public, and that
- represents any
domain of public service, local, state, national, international, or
non-profit.
Nomination Procedures
Nominations
and self-nominations, from any individual or institution, must include:
- a one-page cover
letter summarizing the accomplishments and impact of the unit's initiative(s)
- a narrative, not
to exceed five pages, explaining the basis of the nomination with appropriate
performance indicators
- additional evidence
(in appendices limited to ten pages) such as recommendation letters,
program evaluation summaries, press coverage, and brief descriptive
information (organizational mission, size, history).
Nominations are
open through October 16, 2010.

Selection Committee
The Award
Selection Committee is composed of representatives from each of the journal
sponsors derived from the Public Integrity Editorial Board.
Award Presentation
The winner
will be recognized by each sponsor and will receive an elegant statue/plaque
representing the achievement.
