| During
the last three decades, American public administration witnessed a remarkable
growth in numbers and quality of its professional journals. In order to encourage the development of the
administrative knowledge broadly, PAR editors would like to urge readers to
peruse carefully essays in other related scholarly periodicals. The following list provides the editor’s
highlights of outstanding articles from recent issues. Although by no means should anyone limit
their reading to just these articles, they are well worth a careful look,
especially for those interested in a better appreciation of new generalist
perspectives about the field.
