Highlights from Public Administration Journals


During the last three decades, American public administration witnessed a remarkable growth in numbers and quality of its professional journals.  In order to encourage the development of the administrative knowledge broadly, PAR editors would like to urge readers to peruse carefully essays in other related scholarly periodicals.  The following list provides the editor’s highlights of outstanding articles from recent issues.  Although by no means should anyone limit their reading to just these articles, they are well worth a careful look, especially for those interested in a better appreciation of new generalist perspectives about the field.
