Oklahoma Chapter

ASPA Oklahoma formed as a chapter over 50 years ago in order to support the practice and study of public administration in Oklahoma and the surrounding region. It advances excellence in public service by serving as a bridge between the study and practice of public administration for public servants and scholars. This chapter contributes towards greater collaboration, networking, proficiency, innovation, and inclusivity in the study and practice of public administration in Oklahoma and will promote a greater understanding and appreciation for public service. Members are drawn from all levels of government, indigenous nations, and nonprofit organizations. The chapter also sponsors the high-profile Administrator of the Year, Distinguished Public Service, Lifetime Achievement, and Kory B. Atcuson Organizational Awards.
