Student and New Professionals Summit


ASPA's Student and New Professional Summit takes place during our Annual Conference, providing this special group of new public administrators with a valuable opportunity to gain some career development resources as they get started with their new degrees.Some of the topics usually discussed include:

  • Resume and CV development
  • Job search options within the practitioner and academic communities
  • Putting together a cohesive application package
  • Negotiating compensation
  • Connecting with mentors and growing your professional network

Each Summit also includes networking time with your fellow attendees to learn from others' experiences.
