ASPA Announces Next Public Integrity Editor Team
– The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) announces it has completed its search for the next editor in chief of Public Integrity
, its premier scholarly journal addressing ethical issues affecting society. ASPA president Paul Danczyk, with ratification by the National Council, has appointed the team of Mike Potter (Mississippi State University) and Amanda Olejarski (West Chester University); Potter will serve as editor in chief and Olejarski will serve as managing editor.
Potter and Olejarski have begun to transition the journal to their leadership; their editorial term officially begins on July 1, 2019.
“We on the National Council are very excited with the team our search committee recommended for this valuable public role,” said Danczyk. “The committee completed a very thorough search process to choose the right fit for Public Integrity. I’m very pleased with this selection and everything Mike and Amanda will bring to this role. Also, I thank Carole Jurkiewicz for her editorship of Public Integrity during the past five years. I look forward to the journal making sustained and significant strides under Mike’s and Amanda’s leadership.”
